[ WHAT WE DO ]

Most brands need two kinds of product photography and get sold one. The first is the clean set: every SKU on a consistent background, shot to spec, ready for your site and the marketplaces, boring in the best possible way. The second is the campaign still: one product, one surface, one idea, lit like it costs three times what it does. We shoot both, and we think they should look like they came from the same brand, because to a customer they did.

Beauty photography is its own discipline and it is the one we live in. A face and a product share the frame, and neither is allowed to lose. Skin has to read as skin, not as a filter. The cream, the gloss, the powder and the swatch have to read as texture you can almost feel. That takes a makeup artist on the floor all day, light built for texture rather than flattery, and a photographer who knows that the retouching is decided on set, not afterwards.

The quiet advantage is that we are a film studio. If you are already shooting a product or beauty film with us, the stills ride along on the same lighting, styling and set, usually the same day. One campaign, one look, one invoice, and a much smaller number on it than two separate shoots.

We work with beauty, skincare, cosmetics, fragrance, fashion, lifestyle and hospitality brands, and the list of names on the Work page is mostly the first four.

[ CAPABILITIES ]
E-commerce Product Photography
Clean, consistent sets across every SKU, shot to marketplace and web specs. The unglamorous work that sells the most product.
Campaign & Hero Stills
One product, one surface, one idea. The image that goes on the billboard, the homepage and the launch post.
Beauty & Cosmetics Photography
Model-led beauty with a makeup artist on the floor all day. Skin that looks like skin and product that looks like product.
Skincare Texture & Swatches
Creams, serums, drops, powders and lip swatches on 90mm and 100mm macro glass. Texture is the whole point.
Fragrance & Glass
Reflections controlled, edges defined, light doing the storytelling. The category that exposes lazy lighting fastest.
Lifestyle & Fashion
Product in a life, on a person, in a room. Cast, styled and lit so it feels like a moment and not a mock-up.
Product Styling & Props
Surfaces, props, palettes and small set builds sourced and styled by people who do it every week.
Beauty & Product Retouching
Dust, seams, labels and reflections fixed. Skin cleaned, never replaced. Restraint is the skill.
[ HOW A SHOOT RUNS ]
STEP 01
Brief
SKU list, where the images will live, deadline and two or three reference images. Five lines gets you an accurate quote.
STEP 02
Shot list & set
Which SKUs get the clean set, which get the hero treatment, surfaces and palette, and the styling plan.
STEP 03
Test
Glass, gloss, metal and pearlescent packs get a lighting test before the day. We would rather find the problem early.
STEP 04
Shoot
Controlled light, a stylist resetting between frames, and the time macro and beauty work actually need.
STEP 05
Retouch & deliver
Colour, clean-up and restrained retouching, then every size and format your channels need, named so your team can find them.
[ WHAT CHANGES THE COST ]

Product photography is quoted on the day and on the deliverables, not on a rate card we hide behind. The things that move the number are the SKU count, whether it is tabletop only or model-led with casting and a makeup artist, how much styling and set building the look needs, how deep the retouching goes, and where the images will be used and for how long. A clean e-commerce set of forty products and a six-image campaign shoot are very different days, and we would rather quote them honestly than quote them the same.

If there is a film in the plan, tell us. Stills on a film day are the cheapest good stills a brand can buy, and we wrote down what a shoot day actually costs, department by department, so you know what you are paying for.

[ QUESTIONS WE GET ]

Can you shoot the stills on the same day as the film?

Yes, and it is the most cost-effective way to do it. The lighting, surfaces, styling and product prep are already paid for by the film, so a stills camera on a second setup, or a locked frame captured between takes, adds a few hours rather than a second day. We plan the stills into the shot list from the brief stage so the campaign looks like one campaign, not two.

Do you shoot marketplace and e-commerce listings?

We do. Clean, consistent product sets for your own site and for marketplaces, shot to the platform specs so nothing gets rejected or cropped badly. What we care about is that the listing set and the campaign set share a look, because a customer usually meets the brand on a listing page and decides on a campaign image, or the other way round.

How many products can you photograph in a day?

For clean e-commerce sets where the same lighting works across SKUs, a lot. For hero and campaign stills where every product gets its own surface, light and styling, three to five SKUs in a full day is realistic. Tell us the SKU count and the kind of images you need at the brief stage and we will schedule it honestly rather than optimistically.

Do you retouch skin, and how far do you go?

We retouch, and we stop before the skin turns into plastic. Texture stays, pores stay, the person stays recognisable. Most of the work happens on set with the makeup artist and the light, which is why the retouching afterwards is a clean-up rather than a rescue. We wrote about where we draw the line in the Journal.

What do we actually receive?

Retouched, colour-corrected masters in the sizes and formats you need for web, marketplace, print and social, named sensibly so your team can find them. If you need unretouched selects or a wider set of crops for a specific platform, say so in the brief and we will build it into the day.

Do you work with brands outside Mumbai?

Yes. Most product work happens in our studio in Mumbai, and the products travel far more easily than the crew does. For beauty and model-led work we shoot in Mumbai and cast here. For shoots that need a specific location we travel across India, and the travel simply becomes a line on the quote.
