Commercial Film Production

Brand films, ad films and the campaigns around them. Built calmly, priced honestly.

[ WHAT WE DO ]

We make commercial films for brands out of Mumbai. Brand anchors, ad films, launch pieces, corporate stories and the social ecosystem that has to live around all of them.

Our view on this work is fairly simple and slightly unfashionable. The camera body is the least interesting variable on a set. What actually decides whether a film reads as premium, in order, is the lighting and how it is shaped, the lens choice, the production design, the grip department, hair and makeup, the colour grade, the sound mix, and the rhythm of the edit. The sensor comes last. A Blackmagic with a good gaffer and a proper grade beats an Alexa lit by a laptop LED every single time.

The second thing we believe is that opacity about money helps nobody. We publish our budget tiers openly, we quote from a written brief within 48 hours, and we build a swing window into the schedule so the shot nobody thought of at 4pm does not blow up the day.

Calm sets make better films. That is most of the method.

[ CAPABILITIES ]
Brand Films
The anchor piece. The film that has to say who you are and survive on the site for a year.
Ad Films & Commercials
30s and 60s spots built for broadcast, cinema and paid digital, with every deliverable spec handled.
Corporate Films
Culture, capability and founder story films that do not feel like corporate films.
Social Campaign Content
Platform-native content framed at the shoot stage, not cropped out of a master afterwards.
Creative & Concept Development
Treatment, script, mood and storyboard. The thinking before the camera turns on.
Production Management
Crew, cast, permissions, logistics and the call sheet. Run by people who like schedules.
Post Production
Edit, colour grade, sound design and mix. Picture locked before the grade starts, always.
Motion Graphics & Titles
End tags, supers and lower thirds that fade on a single axis and never spin.

STEP 05
Delivery
Every format, every channel, on time and ready to go live.
[ WHAT IT COSTS ]

What a commercial film usually costs

We publish these openly because opacity about pricing is an industry habit that helps nobody. Know what things cost and you can plan properly, push back on quotes that do not add up, and spend where it matters.

[ QUESTIONS WE GET ]

How much does an ad film cost in India?

Honestly, it depends on scope, but our working tiers are Rs 1 Lakh for a founder-tier single-setup film, Rs 5 Lakh for a properly crewed brand film, and Rs 15 Lakh and up for campaign work with full department heads. The biggest jump between tiers is not the camera. It is that each department gets its own head instead of one person doing two jobs. We break this down department by department in our Journal.

How long does a commercial film take?

Four to eight weeks from brief to delivery for most brand films. Two to three weeks of pre-production, one to two shoot days, and two to four weeks of post depending on how much sound design and grading the film needs. We lock picture before starting the grade, which is slower on paper and better in the end.

What do you need to give us an accurate quote?

Five lines in an email. Where the film will run, what deliverables you need, the script or scope, the real deadline, and two or three reference films. With that we can put a costed quote back to you within 48 hours.

Do you shoot on Alexa or RED?

We spec the camera to the job, and we will tell you plainly when it does not matter. For roughly 80 percent of the brand films we shoot, the camera choice is a rounding error in the final result. If someone quotes you three lakh more for a fancier camera and nothing else changes, you are paying for a logo on a rental invoice. Ask what else changes.

Can we add a shot on the day?

Yes, if it is scheduled. A genuinely small extra shot on a lit, dressed set is a twenty minute exercise, not five minutes, once you count relighting, camera repositioning, continuity reset and makeup touch-up. We build a swing window into the schedule for exactly this. Tell us at breakfast rather than at 4pm and it costs nothing.

Do you handle media buying or distribution?

No. We are a production studio. We deliver every format and spec you need for your channels, but the media plan and buy sit with you or your agency. Our numbers are production numbers, not media numbers.
